My tattoo artist has taken in an apprentice. They posted on FB asking if anyone wanted to be tattooed by him, so I put up my hand.
Turns out I was to be his first. So in I go yesterday and the poor guy was so nervous. I tried to relax him as much as possible and let him know I am not expecting perfection from his first tattoo.
So my tattoo is now half finish, it is far from perfect but I don't mind. Every time I look at it it will remind me that I helped someone take the first step.

that's pretty cool of you to be understanding. i guess it's not really something that they can do without a live subject.
