ran for 3 miles yesterday, slowly increasing my distance and surprisingly my time too. I'm just over 8 minute miles right now, that's 2 minutes faster than 2 weeks ago when I started. only now my knee is starting to hurt for the first 2 miles, I think it might be left over from the kayaking trip I took last week.
So today I modified my kayak, and installed temporary thigh braces. I went out on the river and did a little testing, it was a good day for it, the wind was pretty strong and the full moon tonight has the water pretty active. I 'm pretty happy with them, I was able to turn upside down and remain in the cockpit until I actually wanted to wet exit. This should make it easier to finally get an eskimo roll done.
