The pain started in the left side of my head a week ago Saturday night, centered in a knot at the base of my skull. Over the course of a week (spent unpleasantly, visiting my family in Mississippi), the pain migrated down the back of my neck and left shoulder blade, as the stress took root, deepened and accumulated. Since yesterday, the ache and tension has traveled into the left arm, down all the way to the elbow.

Stress is truly a wonderful thing! I need some excruciatingly deep tissue massage. But massage costs a lot of money, and I'm poor, so I'm just gonna live with the pain. Fuck it...
