For some reason I can't explain, I really like some black and white photos. I think that precisely because we don't see the world that way and we are used to colors that the feeling of black and white is different from usual. Nobody spends time thinking about the blue of the sky, the green of the leaves or the red of flowers, because after all those colors have always been there. Sometimes I observe the person next to me, the skin color and the texture it has. The hair color and the feeling of my fingers in there. The color of the eyes and how deep they are. The color of the lips and the feeling of feeling them on me. I imprint the colors and shapes in my mind. And even looking at a black and white photo when I close my eyes, they're there.
