So, school started back on Monday. I can't say I was too disappointed, since I want to keep this ball that I call life rolling in some sort of direction.
I am currently taking Chemistry w/Lab, World Literature, and Spanish II. I'm taking the World Lit. and Spanish II online. This is the first time I have ever taken online classes, but it seems like it's going to be relatively easy. All I do is submit all my work online and go up to the school of my choice to do the testing. My literature class seems super easy, just a lot of reading assignments, but not much else. I have three tests and they are only 30 minutes each, multiple choice. Woot!! I really like being able to work at my own pace, getting up to use the restroom without missing anything, and actually getting some homework done in my spare time while I'm at work. I have to say, it's rather convenient.
So, I THINK I've finally decided what I want to be when I grow up I've pretty much settled on two career paths, criminology or education. I know, I know, it seems like I change my mind at the drop of a hat, but my heart has always been in three areas, two of them more than the third (nursing, criminal justice, education). Hopefully, after doing some extensive research and interviews, I will decide exactly which route I want to take.
Man, there are so many things I want to do right now, finding the ability to not be lazy about it is the main obstacle getting in my way. I have to juggle work, school, and leisure(and I'm not too good at giving each one their due time). There are four books that I want to read. All but one just happen to be of the religious flavor. I am currently reading the illustrated version of "The Da Vinci Code", but I would also like to read "Finding Darwin's God", "Blue Like Jazz", and "Memoirs of a Geisha" (which I have sitting at home and it's taking everything I have not to start that one too). I need to get the book read before I see the movie (which stars two of my favorite actresses, Ziyi Zhang and Michelle Yeoh.
In other news, I am wanting to get the black out of my hair again (even though I always seem to go back to black). I've been wanting my hair to be a reddish-orange for a while now, just don't want to damage my hair too badly doing it. I can't stand the roots though and I have so many silvery-grey hairs *sigh*
