So, I had a really fucking awesome day today. School was boring but didn't seem to pass too slowly. I hung out with an old friend of mine. Man, I didn't realize how much I missed her until today; she's like a sister to me.

We ate at this nice little place called Midtown Cafe. It was there that I had the best sandwich of my entire life. I was in disbelief as to how good this sandwich was (yes, it was that good). It was a lemongrass tofu sandwich; I'm salivating just thinking about it.

Anyways, the people there were fucking nice as hell and I was in the best company you could possibly have. My friend brought along two friends who were the nicest people ever and I brought along my best friend. My friend is pretty poor so I offered to buy her food. The bill comes and the check is missing. I'm wondering, "Was our meal on the house?" Then we come to find out that the nice gentleman that my friend brought along had bought all of our dinner and drinks. I was blown away. It's so nice to find people that are actually civil, generous, and chilled compared to the pretentious people I have to deal with on a daily basis. I got the warm fuzzies.

Today was just the most amazing day I have had in a long time. It's interesting how just being around kind people can make everything seem beautiful (man, I sound like a hippie).
