Ever since I was a kid in Alaska, I've gotten inspiration from weird places. Most of my pretend games were based on books I read, and I'm pretty sure I spent several years running around the house with only a pair of silk fairy wings because we had a lovely illustrated book of fairies and based on that I decided that real flower fairies don't wear clothes (I still stand by this). I have to admit, my inspiration sources haven't changed all that much since then: I fixate on characters in my favorite books, movies, and shows, and emulate the qualities that I love about them (my current obsession is all things Riverdale, especially Betty--who I would love to do a cosplay of--and Cheryl). I also draw inspiration from people watching and being nosy on social media. Since I started modeling, I've looked up to SGs like @penny and @ceres because of the genuine and confident ways they present themselves. And I have to admit, sometimes I just see a super hot girl on the bus and decide that that is the look I want to embody for my next shoot. It's amazing how much beauty is around in everyday life: the books we read, the things we watch, the people we walk by, the flowers that grow in the middle of a city. The beautiful mundane is my constant source of inspiration.
