OMG

I am shattered, I spent this weekend at my mum and dads, so they could take uschristmas shopping, they have been total stars and helped us out by buying most of Joshua's ( mystep sons) christmas presents as this year has been a difficult one for us (see last blog).

I told them to not get me and marc anything and just get Josh's so he was happy, but bless them they bought me a new coat and new boots, and they are getting marc a really nice professional gaming mouse, so he is really happy too.


But I had to bring my mums sewing maching home with me last night as we didnt get time to sort out Josh's costume for his school play, at 9pm I was pinning Josh into the material and then sending him to bed so I could get started on the sewing.

But disaster struck as everytime I tried to collect the thread from the bobbin, the machine jammed, so an hour later after calls to my mum and taking the bobbin bit apart I got it working, and got to sewing.


After I had done all i could do with the machine I started on the hand sewing stuff, and finaly finished as much as I could at 4am this morning, then I was p at 8am giving Josh a final fitting and sewingthe last bits.


And i am exhausted!!!

But he is woth it I love him to bits. xx





Not bad for a first attempt and I havent used a sewing machine in about 15 years, lol
