Well my life has been so up and down recently, we have moved house and I already love it here, it feels more like home already!!!
But were all struggling to find work, where we are now living in Harlow, there have been thousands of local redundancies so things are tight on the job front, my husband who is a trained QC analyst for the pharmaceutical industry is currently temping as a kitchen porter (aka a dish washer) i feel so sorry for him but love him so much for doing it, he is willing to do anything to keep our heads above water.
Unfortunately we risk losing our house as I don't think we're going to earn enough to pay the rent, but were trying to find ways around it!!!
Our house mate also is struggling to find something, some of it is he needs to get his finger out and look harder, and take anything that comes along, but again jobs are scarce.
But I have decided it is time for me to go back to work, I went last week to register with the local agency and took all there annoying tests, this time it was word, excel, PowerPoint and outlook, I thought ii had cocked them up completely buy when my results were printed out apparently they were really good, I got 94% on word and 75% on excel, the average is around 50% so not too shabby!
She put me forward for 3 jobs whilst I was there, a HR administrator, sales administrator and a account manager. She called me this morning to tell me that the company with the HR role want to see me for an interview, so I am all booked in for my interview for Wednesday at 10am.
I'm terrified and excited at the same time, as some of you know I haven't really worked for the last year or more as I was signed off through depression, I have worked really hard on my issues and I am now finally feeling really positive and excited about going back to work, just have to stay calm for the interviews!
Oh and to top it all off my step son's mum called me a while back to tell me that she is pregnant again, so now josh not only feels abandoned by her but also replaced, I'm really worried about him, I hope he gets through all this ok, He keeps asking when me and his dad are going to have a baby so he has a family here too, but how do i explain it to him that we might not be able to have babies.
On a lighter note we went to the cinema yesterday to see Indiana Jones, and my god I loved it!!!
