Well im still alive!
Im in agony but alive, lol
Me and torgaddon left friday at 2pm for the Edale in the Peak District, it took us narly 5 hours to get there because of road works along the way,but it was amazing to see the views from the camp site wen we arrived!
This is fom our tent!
After getting set up and having dinner we went to bed, to be ready for the first days walking!
Torgaddon was good and made me a fry-up in the morning!
Proof he can cook no excuses!
For the first day we went walking in to edale, we were camping at Upper Booth, about a 2 mile walk, the first part was horrible, i havent walked in nearly 10 yrs anywhere like this, but after the first mile, uphill i was ok and it was amazing!
Edale was lovely and gave us a chance to get a rink and some post cards!
The walk back was easier!
In the afternoon we deided to explore the stream that ran behind the camp, it was well worth the walk.
The water falls were amazing!
The next day we decided to do go a bit futher, i had done abou 6mies the day before which for me is loads, but w decided to aim for 10miles.
We decided to take the trail along the stream and see where it took us, it was gorgeous, but the further we got the harder the alk became, and when we came around a corner and i saw how high the peak was above us i almost turned around, the people climbing ahead of us looked so small!
Bu after much badgering from Mr T I kept going, it was so hard I had to climb over boulders on my knees, but i made it to the bloody top, if only to shut Mr T up, lol
While we were up there we found out that we had just climbed Crowden Clough, one of the more challenging paths to kinder scout and crowden tower, but the views made up for the pain, i have spoilered the pics.
