When you picture uplifting I'm sure you think of 5am runs and shouting affirmations at the mirror. For me, I am a little bit of a organisational nerd and during social isolation I have spent this time tweeking what lifts me up and inspires me to create.
Every day, in the evenings I journal and assess my macro goals and how I think I'm going and break them down into little steps I can do the next day. Such as, for example I want to create higher quality interesting video content. So monthly, I want to be creating videos, watching others videos for inspiration and tutorial videos about software and cameras. I will use my Google Calendar to see how much time I can delegate each day to this task. Even if it is just 15 minutes a day on Youtube watching my favourite creators talk about how they started I find it really inspiring to me.
Prior to figuring out that this is uplifting to me I really struggled to feel inspired without structure. Planning is really important and I've found a way to make it work for me. It does help if you have cute stationary too.. (✧ω✧)
My virgo moon was very excited about this Blog Homework.
I hope this weekend is treating you well. Sending you all my love and best wishes.
