Well I did it again: blinked and about three weeks passed. So what's been going on?
(Hmmm....that intro was scarily like my last one...)
Lots more work in Sweden. (Yawn yawn yawn.)
Lots more drinking (Why do I do it to myself? My headaches after alcohol now render me useless for a fair part of the next day)
Went for a romantic picnic down Coombe park with the good lady. (She stipulated that it was only a picnic if we had scotch eggsso what did I do? Left the bloody things in the fridgeGrrrrr)
Went to my home citys new casino for a friends birthday. (Didn't think my home city could be more tacky that it currently is but we seemed to have surpassed ourselves"Isle of Capri" I ask youthought maybe it's a worldwide casino theme)
Went to a friends 30th birthday BBQ. (Once again the now legendary bank holiday BBQs ended in drunken chaos after a slow start. We all behaved when the kiddies were around, but as soon as they leftI don't think letting the birthday boy mix cocktails was too clever an idea)
Nearly had a heart attack/minor undergarment soiling incident (My beloved football team avoided relegation due to the performance of a goalkeeper playing in a totally different match.)
