Thanks for the welcome. I do feel welcome in the UK. It's been good so far. Living by the seaside is definitely a dream I should try to fullfill for myself sometime. I ended up near work, because I just can't stand commuting, but Brighton is only a few stops on the train away. Many people here don't seem to like it, but I do, and not only for the sea! Did your dog get that promised walk in the end? I spent the whole day in London, it was gorgeous weather, and the evening at a going away do for a friend. Trying to veg out tonight. Taking it easy. Maybe I'll do the same from now on and let the friend applications pile up... it does usually start to bother me sooner or later... the little numbers going up..

Nah it went through my normal employer - government boy you see!! Was a boring 7 hours, then one absolutely mental hour when everyone got kicked out the park at close!! Sunday in the festival was awesome though, such a laugh. Makes me want to do a festival proper now though!!

I had a lovely day out in Canterbury yesterday and although the client was a complete arsehole and obviously uncomfortable in female company, the sun was out and I mooched about all over the place doing my investigations.
