Yesterday's funeral went really well I guess, well considering we were saying goodbye to a 34 year old girl with a whole lot of living still to do frown

The chapel was absolutely packed out with people all wanting to say goodbye, they even had to stand up at each side of the wall as there were no seats left!

I managed to buy the most amazingly bright and beautiful flowers with little bits of fake fruit in them, they were gorgeous and so perfect for Donna as one of her favourite tricks was to rearrange fruit bowls whenever she saw them - 2 apples and a banana, need I say more! Hehe So juvenile but that was Donna all over, always looking for mischief!!

It was really good to see a lot of my old school friends again and we had a right giggle. Someone even brought the old year book with them so we all took the piss out of each other, it was really nice. We've all agreed to keep in touch too and are going to arrange a proper night out around Christmas time. Obviously where some people only had a couple of days notice of the funeral they were unable to make it so I'm hoping we can get a right old group of us together in a few weeks for a proper party.

All is good in the hood today, its almost the weekend again, I'm working hard in the office and hoping to get paid pretty soon.

My fucking bank have not only cancelled all my direct debits but now they're saying they won't renew them!! What utter cunts!! I'm in god damn credit for fucks sake, what more do you want from me?!?!

Oh well, it's finally pushed me to go with the Co-op which I've been meaning to do for a year or more. The good thing with them is that every time they fuck up, they give you 25!! And if they're anything like they used to be a couple of years ago, they'll owe me a fortune!! tongue

Whatever, I'm a good customer generally and look forward to dealing with a more ethical bank, albeit they're stll a scummy bank. At least I know my money isn't funding a war or animal torture or anything else like that biggrin

Oh yeah, and the new design on this site sucks arse big time. I can't even keep up with my friends blogs like I used to. I never missed one before, even if it took me a while to write them, now I'm struggling to keep up with all my friends. I know I'm missing blogs along the way and it's pissing me right off. I feel like I'm not being a proper friend and that's shitty. Sort it out SG, we're all paying customers here and I've not heard one person say they like the changes and that the changes were needed even, they weren't so put them back! mad

I've been such a silent shit heel that I haven't read blogs in quite a long time now. I just read thru your last couple and man can I relate. I'm glad you've gotten closure though. We've had a rough couple of weeks as well. My mom's friend of 30 years, only 46 spent a week on life support then a about 5 days in hospice and died the day before election. Direct result of drug and alcohol abuse. A good AA friend of mine passed the day before her of advanced lung disease, he was only 59, and this was especially tough because of dad's lung disease. The topper? One of my mom's 8 cats, a year old kitten, took suddenly ill day before yesterday and she rushed him to the vet. They couldn't figure out the problem and he died yesterday. They are so baffled that the vet is doing a necropsy (isn't that what they call if to animals) free for her because he wants to know what the hell was wrong. All his bloodwork was fine. He'd had a bloody nose the night before but mom though one of the other cats had just scratched him. They now think maybe hemorage or something. Poor little Owen.

Life gets real the older we get, eh? whatever

Hi hon - sorry to hear about your loss, but glad the occasion put you in touch with your old friends.
As far as the bank goes - ditto on the cunts message. You'd think at present they'd be wanting your business.
