So, it's the 7th July 2008.
I was due to be driving to Birmingham for 3 days first thing in the morning and I reeeeeeeeeally didn't wanna go. Tessie is still up and down at the moment; the main problem being trying to get her to eat in the morning. I can't give her her insulin until she's eaten and while we were on holiday I made the mistake of pandering to her possibly a little too much and was feeding her myself with a fork because she wouldn't eat. I just thought it was because we were in a strange place and she was a little freaked out. Now we're home again, she's still buggering about in the morning; some days she'll eat straight away, others she won't. I was worried about going away for 3 days and having my mum and Jim feeding and jabbing her in case she wouldn't eat for them too - I didn't want them panicking about it and not being able to get hold of me. Aaaaaaaaaanyway, Guy has just called to say he's feeling poorly so I've had to postpone the 2 day meeting with one client and so now I only have to go up to Brum for the day on Thursday which I can handle no problem. This makes me very happy indeed and the client seemed pretty cool when I broke the news to him
Having said all that, I was planning on having my lounge, stairs and landing decorated while I was away, including ceilings, wall and skirting boards and now I'm going to be here while it's going on I think I'll settle the decorator in and then go to the office for the day. I'm gonna start clearing my bedroom out in a minute and get things put up there out of the way so the guy can just get in here in the morning and get stuck in.
It's total hibernation here today and this is why:
Outside the back door:
Outside the front window:
And look, this is what happens to my kitchen floor when the beast goes outside to explore:
Look at her lil guilty face!! Hehe:
Suffice to say, we're loving the storms - I just wish it was somewhere tropical so I could strip off and get out there in it but it's the UK, we don't do things like that here
We are now happy hibernating in our jammy's (well, I am, Tessie is nekkid! )
xx

You and hibernation sound like a wonderful combination
