Personally I'm doing pretty well thanks. I had a lovely day out in Canterbury yesterday and although the client was a complete arsehole and obviously uncomfortable in female company, the sun was out and I mooched about all over the place doing my investigations. It was a long day out but I believe a successful one, nonetheless.
Unfortunately I got home, switched on the TV to hear that 7 bombs have gone off in the city of Jaipur in India. I spent 10 days in Jaipur, working alone, in 2006 and it really upset me seeing this beautiful place in utter chaos and carnage on the telly. 65 confirmed dead now and over 200 injured. One poor little 8 year old was laying on a hospital bed in a pretty delirious state and the doctors said she's in a serious condition. Her father is away working in another country and no-one has told her yet that her mother and aunt who she'd gone shopping with didn't make it. How sad is that?!
Next I've just turned on the TV now to hear that a bomb has been strapped to an 8 year old little girl in Iraq and used to kill a soldier. The fuckers. Seriously, who in their right fucking mind would do that? Imagine that poor little baby's final thoughts on this planet and how scared she would have been. Did she know what what happening? And the soldier to0. They say that every cloud has a silver lining; I don't think that's true in this case
