I watched The Road yesterday. As far as visions of a post-apocalyptic wasteland go it's considerably bleaker than Fallout 3. I guess I should probably read the book. What was the deal with guys not having thumbs? There was the thief, who didn't have either, and the guy at the end who was missing his left thumb.

Also, the basement larder? Graphic and disturbing imagery for sure.
