Did anyone have trouble trying to catch a cab in The Burgh on New Years this year? I swear to god all the cabs were just driving around not picking anyone up. We tried to call the cab company to pick us up and they said they weren't picking anyone up at Margarita Mama's......stupid. It's like they were promoting drunk driving or something. We had to walk about 13 blocks to get back to our hotel. Then my friend Jules met people that had to walk the whole ways back to Oakland because they couldn't get a cab either. So she invited them into the lobby of our hotel to get warm before they set out again.

I did find my new favorite bar on the South Side though. Jacks. They have the best Jukebox in the world.
