I just wanted to pop in and let you all know why I've been so quiet..
Well, about 2wks ago I had cosmetic surgery!!
I feel much better than last week..!! What a world of difference!
The first week was very emotional, mentally, and physically taxing. My doctors warned me that I was going to feel an array of emotions, and that it's totally normal feel guilt, regret, helplessness, selfish... and trust me, I did.
However, by the end of the first week I was back to my bubbly, goofy self!
The prodecure itself took 6hrs..!! 6 HOURS! And guess what.. I WAS AWAKE THE WHOOOLE TIME!! I was definitely nervous, just like any other surgery jitters but the second the gave me that Nox, I was in Party City on Cloud 9! 😅
The team I worked with was fantastic and made the experience not only unforgettable but so comfortable. When the procedure was over, I started weeping. Not crying, actually weeping. The nurse said, "Are you crying because you're in pain or are you emotional?" (Remember.. patients experience wild range of emotions). I took my mask off and said, "I'm just so happy."❤
While during my healing, standing completely has been my biggest goal. I'm still a little hunched but in about another 2wks, I'll be back to normal walking!🙌
Thank you all for hanging with me during this time. I'm so appreciative of your ongoing support. Obviously I have a little bit of healing to do still, but I wanted to take this time to fill you in on one of the many exciting things to come!! 🤩
If anyone has questions about my surgery, it's ok to ask! (I do want everyone to know that this was a decision I made on my own and was not influenced by anyone else's outlook or opinions ❤)
Ps. I made a joke while they were slicing my stomach skin up lol...they took off 2 off my stars and I said, "Awww...my rating dropped!" 😅😅😅
