The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. Check it out. Yes, it's controversial, and some of you may belive it's hooey, but I started reading this book on Monday, and it's already working. I've seen firsthand in my life, how the power of the mind directly influences my life. It feels great to be able to make the things that I truly want happen now. I have a distinct feeling that I'm going to have some big news to share with you guys this year. Weeeee!!!
On another note, I am thinking about throwing myself a big birthday bash this year. My birthday is Sunday, March 9, so my husband and I were discussing having the party at our house on Saturday the 8th. I would definitely open it to my SG friends/SGDC and SGCC members, and have our personal friends there as well. Yes, we live in Woodbridge, so that could be a deterrant for some of you. But we have so much stuff that we never get to share with anyone, and we need to put it to use. (and as I said above, I think that we will have more good stuff happen before then) We have a wetbar, air hockey table, poker/game table and dartboard in the basement, which we REALLY need to use as something other than our laundry storage place. And we just got Rock Band, so we need others to play with us. Yep, I want to have a party. It will be a BLAST!
Let's see....what else is going on....I'm really enjoying being a stay at home mom, and I don't really want to get another job. But I'm still applying every day. I'm not getting any calls though. You would think that with 6 years of experience, 4 of which were at the same company (with some supervisory experience), that I would get SOME interviews. Menh...maybe it's not going to be necessary for me to go back to work. Something else is in the works for us. The boys definitely keep me busy, and I'm still tired at the end of the day. Lord knows taking care of 2 boys full-time is a job in and of itself.
Well, off to apply for more jobs while the kids are quiet (the oldest is entranced by Aladdin and the youngest is chilling out sucking on his pacifier). See ya!!

I am sure the right opportunity will open up for you. I got to see my brother earlier this week and I think he is looking for an evening manager for the hotel restaurant he works at (in Manassas). Good luck and have a great weekend.
