A little late but whatever...
Happy Yule and Merry Christmas!
I missed my Yule celebration early in the weekend b/c I was hit with a very icky stomach virus and spent Friday night and Saturday in the bathroom.
I had to send the kids to my parents' house since my husband works his second job overnight on Fridays and Saturdays and wasn't here to help. I didn't fully recover from that until Sunday night.
I felt much better by Christmas though and was able to enjoy that with the family. We got up at 8 and opened presents at home with the kids first. My oldest hit the jackpot; he received a ton of Spiderman and Power Rangers toys, a DVD player (yes, he's just shy of 3 and we got him a DVD player), and a Mickey Mouse Dance Dance Revolution Pad. Our youngest received a lot of toys too, including his very own laptop (age appropriate of course). Now we get to donate a lot of their old toys, which was my ultimate goal. My husband went out on Black Friday and got some great deals, so we had to take advantage.
After presents here, we went to my parents' and spent the rest of the day. We had a great time relaxing and opening more gifts. Mostly I enjoyed spending time with family and not having to rush to be anywhere for once. I did receive some nice stuff as well. My husband treated me right as usual. He got me the Simpsons movie, Angel perfume, a $50 gift card to Frederick's of Hollywood, some gadget to play my Ipod in the car, and a really nice jewelry box. I love my hubby.
Well, the baby's crying, and I have to get to work. So, once again, happy belated holidays!

The rest of the holiday was pretty good. I worked from home on X-Mas eve and then went to a dinner party then to the Christmas Eve service. Slept in X-Mas day where my BBKF got an I-Touch from "Santa." Overall it was great. I can't believe the year is almost over.
