So I'm sick of being in this depression. It's been the longest 1 1/2 months. I can't just turn it off, but I'm making a conscious decision to think as many positive thoughts as possible and work hard in all that I do. I have felt like absolute crap lately and missed a lot of work as a result. I may hate my job, but I'm going to work hard at it and go out with a bang dammit. I'm currently applying for other positions-work at home mostly-and taking action to try to find a way to be at home with my boys. I'm just so tired of feeling hopeless. And I can tell that it is affecting my children which is heart-breaking. Can you imagine how difficult it is to have your two year old constantly ask, "Mama, are you okay? Mama, are you sick?" NO MORE!!!
Anyway, on a somewhat related but seemingly random note, if any of you still keep in touch with former member relevantswitch, tell him to email me darn it. We used to be friends and lost touch. I think I finally understand where he was coming from years ago and I would love to hear from him again.
Anyway, hope all is well with everyone as we enter the holiday season. Be blessed!

philconnors:
I hope the new year brings better things for you. I hope you are seeking some sort of treatment (therapy, meds, yoga, whatever) and that your situation improves. For a quick (if cheap) laugh, check out the Christmas tune below.
