Happy Belated New Year everyone! Yes, I'm a little slow.
There's has been nothing particularly exciting to report in my life. I'm almost in the 2nd trimester of pregnancy, which is a pretty big relief though. I've already felt the baby moving...it's really early, but apparently, women feel their second child much earlier than the first. My husband and I are making plans to get the hell out of Virginia. Yippee! That's really exciting to me. Because I'm due in July of this year, we are waiting until next year to proceed w/our plan, but we are already making trips to check out the area that we want to move to, etc. We are looking to go to the Cary/Raleigh, NC, area. The houses are gorgeous, the educational system is good, it's a big IT/CISCO area (what my husband does), and it is halfway b/t each set of parents. It seems a good choice. We are traveling down the last weekend of this month to get a good look at the area for ourselves.
What else? Let's see... We are remodeling our master bath. It's been fun picking out sinks and toilets and tile... I'm up for a promotion at work. Let's see if I actually get it this time (it's been promised to me for about 7 or 8 months now). If I'm not promoted by the time I go on maternity leave, I'm seriously considering starting a daycare business w/my mother so I can be w/my children and not pay someone else to raise them. Plus, at that point, I will be damn near fed up w/doing the work of a supervisor and not getting the title, recognition, or pay that should go w/it.
Anyway, I'm tired. I'm going to go nap. Leave me comments.

Good luck on the remodeling. Let's see how much fun it is once picking the accessories out is over with and the remodeling actually begins.
