I've got a bulb over my head...so bear with me because this is so COMPLETELY HYPOTHETICAL, but what if...like...someone took Super Mario Bros. 2 and changed Mario into a Taliban agent? I mean, I know that the whole 'making fun of the Taliban' thing is so 2001, but I think the cave scenes from that video game already bare an uncanny resemblance to that of the Taliban's underground hideaways! No doubt that even the catchy pseudo-arabic music playing in the background is exactly the type of battle-hymms that those Al-Qaeda guys listen to 24/7 over their vast underground intercom system.
Besides, the game already contains massive desert levels based on accurate geographical data of the Middle-East. Scouts honor! I know what you're thinking too, and the answer is yes- This does include the placement of Afganistan's famous bullet-spitting red snakes (that alone was a lesson to not place random vases in the desert without ducking into the vase first and making sure the insides have been cleaned of any lurking, colorful creatures wearing Jason masks.)
I won't even start on the vegetable-throwing. That alone is too right for words.
Yes! Super Mario Bros. 2 is so cool, it's absolutely ice-box. Especially for this idea, and I'm going to do it. I shall call this video game 'Terrorist Simulation Engine 1987: Sebghatullah Marahesh Al-Broeda 2'. Look for it...soon.
