A quiet day in the library...
Today has been really busy so far. I feel like I can hardly keep my eyes open. I woke up this morning around 7, and was out the door by 7:30. Electronic Publishing went great as usual- Hughes is an awesome teacher with amazing vigor and passion. He really has the ability to draw people in to what he's saying. The only downside is that you have to like what he's talking about- And for some reason most of the people in that class aren't really tech-enthusiasts, which puzzles me because the whole point of the class is to fulfill a requirement for a degree in the Graphic Communications program. If they ain't there for that, what are they there for? BECAUSE THEY'RE INTERESTED? Give me a break...or at least prove it?
Anyway...my Technical Writing class will suck. About 11 hours a week is expected for it. Design Fundamentals, which I just got out of early, is going to be great. The teacher is giving us the options of sitting in the classroom and working with a bunch of different glues, knives and pieces of paper to make our projects with, or going into the Macintosh lab and sitting down in a comfy chair while going crazy in Photoshop. I like this woman a lot so far.
I've got an hour and a half to kill before I go hit up my Photoshop class. I'm very much looking forward to that. No, I don't expect to 0wn the class, because I shouldn't. I just expect to have a relatively easy time understanding it. Better yet, maybe I shouldn't have any expectations at all. Oh well. We'll see.
I want to go home now.
