Meadow is back to normal. We are so glad that travis realized she was sick! She is eating all her veggies like mad now!
Been very busy with work. We moved all the adult fiction, and teen books from upstairs to downstairs. And all the non-fiction upstairs from down. Well except for a couple collections of non-fiction that are really more for entertainment: Biographies, Home and Garden, Travel and Entertaining Non-Fiction. This creates a family/ popular materials area on the lower level and a quiet study and research area upstairs. We also combined the children's and adult desks together on the bottom floor. I like it. I think it will be better for staff and patrons. But like all change it takes time to get use to it.
I got a tour of the branches yesterday. It was great seeing what the other collections are like. KW wants me to start collection for the other branches as well as central. There will have to be some weeding done to make room for new books. I would like to see more board books and more graphic novels in the other branches.
Unfortunatly we discovered that living in a basement apartment means number one that it is impossible not to hear the family upstairs, number two there are spiders and number three that it is hard to tell what time of day it is.
