Thank you all for your encouragment! Not getting that job really sucks. I may have to move away to find something in my field which I really am not looking forward to. But we will see.

Tonight I came home and laid around reading my book, King of Foxes by Raymond Feist. Which was quite nice to be able to do. It is a sequel to Talon of the Silver Hawk. I Just love his books.

This is the first fantasy I have read in awhile...well that is not entirely true I read one at the beginning of the month but that was like 6 books ago. The last couple have been really sinful romance books. I never read romance books really...but lately I just have had an urge to read them...mainly for the sexual conquest...and the corny endings that always result on the characters being in love.

Now that I have read my fill...for tonught at least...I am going to go do dishes and then bake a cake. Why am I baking a cake? No idea...just cause I want to. It is going to be a moist chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. love

I love desserts...I love making them and I love eating them. Does anyone else love baking?

The O.C is on tonight...my guilty pleasure biggrin I just love that show!

I like to bake, especially when I can convert a recipe to a healthier version that still works. I am always subbing whole wheat flour and oats for white flour. But I have to say, my forte is really cooking not baking.

So, how was the cake?

Also, if you like to bake, try to find a copy of "The Tassajara Bread Book." It is out of print, but worth the search. Zen baking. No kidding. Best cookbook I have. smile
