Covid is still a thing 😕

Ugh... So what I thought was a mild cold turned out to be covid. I tested Tuesday to humor my girlfriend and it was negative. But because we were supposed to go away together this weekend and meet up with a bunch of friends, she wanted me to test again. So yesterday, Thursday, I did. 😲 I got the dreaded double-red lines. 😱 Since the very beginning of the pandemic, I have NEVER tested positive for covid. And yes, I have tested a lot of times over the last five years.

For all these years I thought I was a Super Dodger! Dodging covid whenever it tried to get me! Alas, no more.

I'm fully vaccinated and get annual boosters. 💉 (I'm old, so I need to!) So far it's all just horrible sinus congestion. 🤧 No fever or lung problems. But also no nice weekend away. 😭

Take care of yourselves, People! If you don't feel well, stay away from vulnerable folks, like grandparents and people with health issues.

So glad I can hang out on SG, even when I'm sick! 💕

@ferkixlll  Yes, quick and complete!  No loss of smell or taste either.  If it hadn't been for the covid test (LOVE my GF for telling to take it, just in case...), I would have thought it was a nasty sinus infection.  I hope that's the last time I catch it.  Of course, who knows what will happen is the current administration cuts covid and flu boosters way back.
