Well, the dog I have had almost all my life died this morning. Last night my mom called me to say that she had been attacked by some other animal (they arent sure what, probably a coyote) and that she was hurt pretty bad. She was really old so I had a feeling she wouldnt make it. I called this morning on the way to class and my mom said they had to put her down because they also discovered she had cancer. I was really glad I went home this past weekend and made sure i told her goodbye. So strange how me and my dad were discussing how she wouldn't be around much longer. So thats how my day has been- really slow and crappy.

We would all like our little furry friends to live forever but we know they won't. When the time comes we have to let them go even if it means 'sending' them away. Not everyone understands this though. Somepeople insist on keeping their little pals alive, even after they have really stopped living. Your folks prolly made the right choice for your four-legged sibling. Be happy and remember the times she had and how good of a life your family gave her.
Wishing the best for you,
