In the early Fifties.....
...when Churchill was in his final term as British Prime Minister, his sleep was disturbed one night by one of his aides. With a look of panic on his face, he nervously informed Churchill that one of his government ministers had been found in one of London's parks in the early hours, being buggered senseless by a Grenadier guardsman.
Raising himself in his bed, Churchill said, 'It's rather cold this time of year, isn't it?'
The bemused aide replied 'Well, yes sir. It's mid-January.'
Churchill nodded and said, 'Makes you proud to be British'.
