So another weekend has passed. Gem's now gone back to Uni and travels back home on Tuesday. I'm going to miss that girl so much. I've never felt so relaxed around somebody in such a small amount of time. It's quite odd, but I like it at the same time. It feels like I'm a crappy jigsaw bought from a charity shop and that she's the missing piece I've been looking for all this time.
Sadly, she's working when she gets back home so I won't be able to visit her until New Year, or later. Which sucks. I hope that this distance won't get the better of both of us, I'm sure it won't. She's fantastic and I love her company. I forget the world when I'm with her. Time flies so fast.
I took her around my home city this weekend. (The very beautiful Durham City.) We took some pictures, here is what we took. I'm not sure which is mine and which is hers, but these are still the best ones in my opinion.
I hope you're all ready for Christmas and have a festive time with your families.

well, as we deploy a lot i know long distance things can work if you really want to and it seems you do. a lot of what i've read on the matter says that whenever possible, try a little gift giving out of the blue. like flowers randomly or something to let them know youre thinking about them when they're not there. It seems to be a pretty nice gesture, dont know if it works for you but thats what they always tell us. Oh and webcams for sure. And should an argument come up, never let her hang up angry. Anyhow happy holidays to you as well
