I've spent a fricking FORTUNE on my new camera. I'm not too happy either.
I bought a Canon EOS 450D about... 6/7 weeks ago. I bought it for 630 (It came with a 18mm - 55mm EF lens). So, I go into town, see the shop that sold me it, and now they're selling the same camera and lens for 510!!
NOT fucking cool. I mean, I was given a free bag. But they give one away with every SLR... I bought a 4GB memory card and battery grip too. Grand total... 770.
Since then, I've bought a UV filter which was only like.. 17. I will be buying a Skylight + Circular Polarising filter this weekend, along with a lens hood.
Oh and for my 21st birthday the other week I was bought a Canon EF 55mm - 250mm zoom lens. So, that's well over 1000 for everything so far. I should really get it insured...
I'm currently trying to get on a photography course as well to like.. Get a qualification in media or something, so I can be a photographer. I'm getting a bit fed up of my warehousing job. I think the photographing money would be a lot better too.
Only time will tell I guess.
A quick joke for you. :-
A old woman goes to the dentist, she's called into the theatre. So, she walks in drops her panties sits in the chair, leans back and lifts and spreads her legs in the air. The dentist looks horrified and says, "Excuse me Madam, I'm not a gynaecologist!" The woman looks at him and sweetly says, "I know dear, I just want you to remove my husbands teeth."
What's everybody doing at the weekend then? I think I'll just be lounging around town, looking at pretty things. I'll probably do some indoor rock climbing again, It's a huge hobby of mine which I've been into for about 6 months now. I go to the centre between 2 and 4 times a week. Thank God for season passes, saved me a fortune!
OoooooOOOOoo! I've also got myself booked in for 2 more tattoos on the 14th June. I haven't really had any big ones yet, just smallish ones which are on my chest and rib cage. They'll be my 10th and 11th ones. At the moment my chest doesn't look very nice or cool at all, but I plan to fill it with loads of small designs. Yes, it'll cost me a fucking fortune... But, it's what I want to do. I rushed into them and fucked up my chest piece. But... Live and learn.
I'll be starting on my legs soon. I want a nice big piece on them. As well as my back.
Time will tell!
