I've started applying for jobs as an EFL Teacher in my local borough. Lets see how far I get. It'll be interesting, hubby's offered to buy me a stab vest... this can be a bit of a doubious place at time esspecially dealing with some of the more difficult cultural elements such as a woman teaching a man (yes that does happen).
Next year I'm starting a masters in lingusitics and Educational Managment, so it'd be a good idea for me to get back into both the swing of teaching and applying for jobs. The latter isn't so important as I'll have to organise child care and I bet like last time I'll just break even between the money I earn and the outgoings of childcare etc.
Being a parent is a bugger, but being a parent who wants a career is a double bugger.
THere are around 37 different language spoken by the local council and about 90 different countries that make up the bulk of the borough - welcome to multicultural London.

But currently I'm reading "Freakonimics". These days i'm an informational reader, self help, nonfiction, whatever (I want to learn when I read since I don't have lots of time to read) - versus fiction or stories or whatever. If i'm going to read things like that I'd rather just watch the movie its faster! Before I was a mom I read a lot of stuff just for pleasure, horror novels and whatnot
