What's happening?
Uni:SPOILERS! (Click to view)I'm entering the last study period for my degree. By Xmas (I hope), I'll have a piece of paper that says I know all about the Internet. So, 13 weeks from now, I'll be done. I had better get a job!
Work:
SPOILERS! (Click to view)Some of you know that my job undertaking web development for my friend's magazine has come to an unfortunate and abrupt end -- though through no fault of my own. This just happens in business sometimes. As a result, I'm now looking for work. As quite a big change, this time I am going to accept full-time work, if offered. It's a lot for me to handle all at once (full-time workload and full-time uniload) but I'm sure I'll manage just fine.
Thanks to some help from friends who have been helping me with my CV, I'm confident I will have found a role that I like before the degree is over. I have to be -- once the degree is done, they'll cut off my benefits!
Fun:
SPOILERS! (Click to view)Been a lot of birthdays lately, which is fun. But it's really drained my bank account. And since I don't have a job right now (see "Work" above) it's a little un-fun. Thankfully, I have a great girlfriend who knows how to find fun in just about anything.
Things in that department are still going well.
