This is just a quick update to say hi.
Quick news:
- I live in New Farm now, on Moreton Street, with Goldfish and another friend called Kat.
- My internet access is a bit sporadic at the moment due to only one socket on the modem (who invented those stupid things??) and my laptop no longer charges its battery, which means it's now a lightweight desktop. Not convenient.
- I have blue dreadlocks. They're going pretty well, but I'm behind on maintenance. I just haven't had time, nor has Goldfish.
- Uni hasn't been going well because of my reduced Internet access. There's a good chance I will come close to failing two units, but I'm working to reverse that. There's a lot of reading to do.
- Speaking of reading, I've polished off a few books relatively quickly (thanks to the lack of intarwubs) : Neuromancer by William Gibson; To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee; and, Crooked Little Vein by Warren Ellis. All were excellent for different reasons. CLV, especially, will delight, surprise and horrify anyone that reads it.
- I'm utterly skint at the moment, due to rent and bond necessities. If you're bored and in the New Farm / Valley area, get in touch, but know that I can't afford anything at all. I'm living on pasta and noodles! (good thing I LOVE pasta and noodles!)
Hope you're all well.
