Lexiphanic: The musical fruit
1. Heinz now has Baked Beans in Sweet Chilli sauce. They smell of old socks. However, when you taste them they taste like old socks, with a little chilli. I don't recommend them.
2. Should be an interesting night tonight though I don't plan to have a big one. If any GC people need a lift, let me know. I'll probably return GC way when all the kids go "out" afterwards.
3. Procrastination continues to plague me. Never mind. Not with regard to my studies, however.
4. I'm developing an interest in bookbinding but can't seem to find a place that sells awls, bookbinding needles, wax thread, or other related supplies. Any advice for the south-east QLD region is highly appreciated. Any general advice or info in this direction is also appreciated.
5. General creative arts are starting to interest me more and more. The whole "menial labour as hobby" "revolution": paper craft, linocuts, bookbinding, etc. I'm always on the lookout for crafty interesting projects. I feel I lack the creativity though.
6. I saw 28 Weeks Later last night. Great sequel. Not stupendous, but still worth seeing. There are some genuinely scary scenes in it. I found myself chuckling as they ran around London, though. "LOL it would take anyone half-an-hour at best to run from Greenwich Park to Moorgate station - plus it's across the Thames! How did the zombies do that in 5 minutes??' I love any movie that shows off London, though. There's a good reason it's one of the biggest cities in the world.
NEXT TIME: Lexiphanic: Weekend Edition.
