The current project for university that is harrassing me is creating an analysis and design document for a proposed web site on contemporary Icelandic music. This is all simple stuff really, which is why I find it so difficult. All of this just occurs in my head along the way. I'm not familiar with actually writing it down.
Anyway, along the way I found this awesome video of a French musician named Emilie Simon.
Her MySpace page has a great cover of Nirvana's "Come As You Are" too.
Anyway, here's the video:
There's a lot I like about it. The song's lyrics are cute and fun. The video is Burtonesque. The Paris Metro station she steps out of was the one I stayed beside when I visited Paris a little over a year ago; it is also Amelie's local station. Additionally, the way the girl's character is styled is very similar to the artistic style of my ex, Shannon, which I always adored.
Hope you like it, too.
Looks like there's trivia both at the Lord Stanley Hotel for Brisbane kids and the Dog & Parrot for GC kids tonight.
I shouldn't be going, but I am anyway. Damn peer pressure.
