It's a funny metaphysical space, the Internet.
You go searching for, say, Wireless power transmission on Wikipedia, and end up passing through all kinds of steps, including Nikola Tesla, until you finally end up at a video made by Thomas Edison in 1903 of him electrocuting an elephant to prove that AC power is less safe than DC power (they used AC to "euthanise" the elephant).
Honestly, the video isn't too horrifying, and the electrocution was approved by the ASPCA.
In case you're curious, Edison who was in favour of his DC invention, ended up losing the so-called "War of Currents".
Before you ask, the answer is "yes, I am full of all sorts of strange and useless information."
