It's been about a week, so I should probably blog something. Let's see...
I saw my grandmother last week. The old battle-axe is still alive and kicking just after her ninetieth birthday, though no one's really sure how it happened. Back then they told me she looked like she was about to kick the bucket any moment. Now she's back to good health again. I only saw photos from her 90th birthday, but she certainly seemed to be healthier now than she did in those snaps.
I've been back for not yet two weeks and I'm already feeling the pressure to get some sort of a job. Being that I don't have a car (and I'm not really interested in getting one), my transport to and from any potential workplace is quite restricted. Especially since the Gold Coast's public transport options leave a lot to be desired.
Since I'm in Robina, I figure I can get some sort of part-time retail job (bookstore?) to put a few extra pennies in my pocket while I work on other projects: writing, some web development, playing World of Warcraft ... ahem.

No one is looking back, everyone's acting as though something hasn't happened before and all they examine are the symptoms (in everything). Its quite silly really, but then I suppose somethings about humanity never do.
