I'm entering the last study period for my degree. By Xmas (I hope), I'll have a piece of paper that says I know all about the Internet. So, 13 weeks from now, I'll be done. I had better get a job!
Oh, and Sigur Rs were great. I caught up with some great friends, met Rys for a short spell one afternoon, and was fairly unwell for the last 36 hours or so.
Still haven't fully recovered. It's a weird feeling.
I was rather suprised just how vibrant the red came out, seeing it's just a box colour, no special effects or anything. I like to think of it as Ronald McDonald Red!
Also, you make me think too much. I guess that is a good thing though.
Online blogs: I guess they are. I never put too much thought into it. But would you consider an online journal to be a blog? I've had a livejournal for 7 years now, and never thought of that as a blog.
Blogazines: Good question. I figure blogs can be about anything, from your daily musings to what you ate for dinner. Blogazines are more like a magazine, they combine the elements of a blog along with those of a magazine. Most blogs wont have infomation on all the latest fashions!
Blogazine [blog-ah-'zeen]: a free online publication combining elements of a magazine and a blog.
Yeah, Frankai plays in Starfish Hill and The Magic Hands, it's also the same singer.
That was the first time The Music Shop has done it, they're trying to improve the 'cool' of their city store to compete with JB and Landspeed so they're doing it every second week now.
This one's more or less just informational. More or less boring.
It was two weeks late but yesterday I handed in a project plan for a report tentatively titled "Look Who's Talking: Why your brand needs an online community manager". I am hoping for good feedback. Meanwhile I have to produce an annotated bibliography.
Erin, with whom I shared the birthday party last week, had... Read More
Unquestionably the best birthday party I have ever had. Quite possibly the best party I have ever attended.
The party peaked at about 30 or so people, and the night finished with about eight of us discovering the sun coming up, realising it was time to head home.
I have no internet connection at home right now. My flatmate is the one that handles it and apparently there's a "billing issue" which has resulted in the account being suspended. My other flatmate, Dye, and I are exploring other options. Current front-runner is Exetel Naked ADSL. The installation charges are, by my estimates, offset by the savings made by not paying line rental... Read More
i dont think its about self confidence at all.
i think if a bisexual girl kisses another girl, its the same as her kissing a boy. i could develop feelings for another person despite gender. i can see what i did as 'wrong'. if he had of made out with a guy infront of me on the couch all night i would have been friggin pissed off as well.
but he forgave me and has forgotten about it, and i wont do it again.
Does somebody have a stevie disliking issue?
rook is all with condeming the cheaters.
hes going to burn down the building of my next Cheaters Anon meeting.
When you make a clever remark in a message board online somewhere, do you smile to yourself?
I do.
Very looking forward to Friday night. Sigur Rs concert documentary, Heima, is being played at the GoMA Cinmathque. As well as a bunch of short films from Iceland. If you're even remotely interested in such things, come along. It all starts at 6pm and it's... Read More
On seeing undine_white's blog about being captured for StyleAudit, I was reminded of the site HEL LOOKS, a street fashion photography site from Helsinki, Finland. HEL LOOKS has been running for a few years now. I have a friend in Helsinki who was once photographed for the site.
It's a great source for fashion inspiration.
Congrats to Milli for winning the SGAU Group Admin election. Good luck!
In personal news:
- I'm liking that I only have two units to work through at uni, instead of the usual four per study period. Scheduling means that I won't get the degree finished until the end of this year, but I'm okay with that.

I am certain I will be asking you questions. I was nearly in tears yesterday trying to figure out how to use the freakin' gradient tool!!!!!!! ARGH! I eventually found a tutorial on YouTube.
I don't know why, but I get a hard-on for elections. Especially big ones that may affect me directly or indirectly.
I loved the Australian Election last year, and I've been on the edge of my seat all day watching the results of the US primaries come in.
It's SO close between Obama and Clinton in the race for the Democrat Party candidacy. For me,... Read More
