So I've been playing this game the last few days. It's called "What Time is it in Tokyo?" I've gotten sort of obsessed with it, actually. Every time I look at my watch or a clock, I automatically add 14 hours so I know what time it is where Amanda is. I miss her.
Another thing I'm digging right now is shredding stuff. I brought a big shopping bag full of old financial papers (bank statements, bills, etc.) to work yesterday since I don't have a shredder at home. We have the mack daddy shredder here, and it's addictive. There's something so satisfying about feeding handfuls of paper into the machine and hearing it eat them. It's especially satisfying when the papers remind you of bad things, like statements for the credit card that was maxed out or the bank account that was overdrawn, or the lease for that apartment you hated.
The other game I'm trying to play now is the get my ass out of debt game. Hopefully the loan will come through this week and my credit cards will be paid off. Then I just have to throw as much money as possible into paying it off as soon as I can. I figure if I treat financial management like a new hobby, I can make myself get really into it. I need to do that with the gym, too. Maybe I should forget about trying to learn how to knit; a girl can only have so many hobbies, and being rich and thin is way better than having a new scarf.

I think it may have been in Manyunk,(sp?) or perhaps a gay club.(I'm not, but friends that are)... I'm not sure exactly, but you look soooo familiar. It will be one of those things where it will be 3am and I will realize where it was. What is your favorite "hang-out"?
