well.... kinda quick for Me to do an update.... but kinda had to after yesterdays events.
here I am at work on Papermill RD up in Newark. In the damn rain we had to work... that SUX!!! anyways make the best of it for the 4 day weekend. My boss tells Me to shut down this turn lane up at Corner Ketch RD. so I go over there and start putting the big orange barrels out to the line shutting down the turn lane. once I got done some old woman in a new silve Mercades Benz SUV turns into the closed lane. so I stop her and tell her to drive out of the barrels. she was like I only have to go right up here. I said "NO" and pointed again for her to drive out. well she turns left and then all the sudden turns hard right. well... needless to say I was standing right there!! she ran over the sid eof My foot threw me into her right front fender, i shove off and she keeps driving right away
I got her tag number and grabbed My cell and called My boss who was down the road about two miles awas. he tells Me to call the cops and I did. went he cops got there they took a report and left to find her. couple hours later the cops drove by again and told Me that they had not caught up with her yet but they knew where she lived. when I got home yesterday from work I had a message on My answering machine from an insurance company. so I called them back and after giving them My side of the story I asked them if they knew if she got charged. they porceeded to tell me that she did NOT get charged. 
talk about BULLSHIT!!! Oh Im not very happy about this. Im gonna get ahold of that pig and tell him she should be charged and if he doesnt Im going to go to the courts and get charges pressed against her. at least charge her with "leaving the sceen of an accident" but she also needs "vehicler assult", "disreguarding traffic control devices" and what the hell "failure to report accident". after all this woman apparently have $$$$ since shes driving a $50k car. anyways... Im ok.. nothing broken or hurt. thankfully I wear steel toe boots and I think if it wasnt for them I would have been hurt.
