Hia friends of Sg!
During the first few months of shut down pandemic I got a little bored living in Down Town Los Angeles, so I decided I wanted to TNR (Trap Neuter Release) a bunch of my community cats because they where multiplying like crazy in early Spring of 2020. Sadly most of the babies didn’t make it, so I learned how to TNR with a local rescue - Kitten Rescue, and started taking care of our local cats while drinking a few beers at night! Well I caught a total of 26 cats, homed 6 slightly feral kittens and got the entire colony fixed/neutered/medical needs taken care of and release back into the colony!
Well I’ve gotten a little rusty since then, I’m not gonna lie. But I had a friend reach out to me about a new local cat in her colony with a broken tail. So I decided to dust off the ol’ cat trapping ass and get to work!
Well today I tied at 9am, no luck. Got off work and tied again, 3 beers later and I thought I’d have to come back tomorrow morning. WELL WELL, a little bird literally chased the exact cat I was looking for into the back yard of my trap. And BAM! 💥 I caught the little kitty with a broken tail, with some other issues too. BUT AYYEE I caught the kitty and I’m dropping them off to a rescue I worked with in my new town tomorrow morning to get the kitty taken care of and potentially adopted after if the kitty is able to be homes, if not she will go back to her colony but alllll fixed up and ready to be a part of their little cat life. Well here are some pictures from today and I just wanted to brag a little about being able to get this cat today, I doubted myself a little bit I’m not gonna lie. But somehow I manifested that I was gone get this cat!
