Funny story. Tuesday was the 1st day of 3rd Grade for the kid. This year there's a bus stop close enough to our house so we can drop her off to take the bus. When she was informed of this by my Significant Other on Tuesday morning we had a meltdown. She didn't want to take the bus. This lead to a morning of alternating between pleading, and stropping and occasionally crying. She's knows better than to pitch an all out fit, but she really didn't want to get on the bus. After an entire morning of this, we got to the bus stop 1 minute late, and just in time to watch the bus pull away.

At which point she was disappointed because, "I was gonna take the bus."

Kids.

Hope everyone had a good Labor Day weekend. Mine was very slow, very quiet and very nearly perfect. Playing Arkham Asylum with the kid and the SO watching, has put our whole house on a Batman kick. We watched two of the animated movies streaming from Netflux, then they subjected me to Batman and Robin (horrible movie!) and then Batman Begins.

Tonight: The Mask of the Phantasm!
