I can explain that picture, actually: Starbucks want to be thought of as The Third Place (this is part of their marketing/brainwashing dogma), i.e. the third place you spend most of your time in (besides work/school and home). This cafe here is simply riding on the Starbuckian vocabulary.

Which, of course, makes me want to NEVER have coffee there. All you've got is fake Starbucks atmosphere? Dang, sbux is fake enough!
