this past week has been crazy. nonstop work/school/other shit going on. i've been working on marketing the film Kamp Katrina for the Florida Film Festival, which included making up our own flyers since the filmmakers never really came through on that. a whole group of people which mostly weren't even in the class i'm doing this for helped make up the flyers tues night and than we all went to i-bar and a night of much needed dancing ensued. than wed night i went to the cold war kids show, they were awsome. tokyo police club was not so awsome. but going to that concert meant i missed out on seeing my brother since apparently (as i found out the day before) he was going to be in town picking his girlfriend up from the airport. and i guess he wanted to take me out to dinner or something, but not without his girlfriend and her flight wasn't coming in till a little after 8. but on that note i didn't have to meet her which was nice. although i have a feeling i'm going to have to meet her eventually. seems to be going that way. anyways, tomorrow i'm going to a soccer game in tampa with my roommate and than the rest of the week will be filled with the film festival and school shit.

i just want it to be june so i can get the fuck out of here for a bit. need a break from everything. i can't wait to get over to germany. than after about 4.5 weeks or so of school there i get to roam around europe for about 2 weeks on my lonesome, and i can't wait. i'm packing light, gettin a europass, and staying in hostels. i got the lonely planet travel guide to prague today, and now i'm getting even more excited. the czech republic isn't included in the europass, so its the only place i'm making actual plans for going to since i'll have to buy train tickets to go/leave there. but if i use my euro pass to get right on the border the train ticket won't be too expensive to get to prague. and by than my german will be a lot better so i should be able to get around pretty well there. other than that, i'm just going wherever i feel like. and the best part is the classes i'm taking over there will count towards my minor and help me get out of this godforsaken school/city. yay!
