FINALLY! my company is finally realizing the importance of my department!
i am an industrial designer and work in the engineering department. Trying to bring design into a company which for 3 years was relying on the machinist to do the design work. plus being about 30 years younger than them also added tension. i just want the company to take off, get noticed, i am not here to find individual fame.
but finally, the CEO sees why we do things, why we put thought into what a product looks like. it makes them stand the fuck out!!! as much as you try to deny it, the look of something will catch your eye and stick in your memory first.
lol. i am blogging because, well, i am getting a new work station! lol. but in this company, they are very tight and don't believe that we deserve it. so its a change, a change in the right direction.
