I love Kentucky Fried chicken. I've eaten at Jean George, and Babbo, and some other French restaurant that is supposed to be... Daniel, it's called Daniel... supposed to be the top restaurant in New York, but it doesn't matter what time I drive past a KFC I must go and get some Fried Chicken. It was $8.50 for a 3 piece meal and a drink!!! What is the world coming to? But it was sooo good.
And I know that KFC is evil. I give money to PETA. I get their magazine, I know what awful things they do to the chickens. But even reading the article in the PETA magazine, I found myself sad, outraged, and ...hungry.
And what genius thought it would be a good idea to put Pamela anderson on the front line of PETAs attack on KFC. Who can look at her and not think plump, juicy breasts...KFC.
Oddly I did not lick my fingers. I used a paper towel. and the macaroni and cheese was yucky. Preternaturally orange and goopy but tasteless. Now that Annies organic macaroni and cheese, where you just add water, that's good eating.
The mashed potatoes were good. they don't taste like potatoes, but they're still good. Just like if you put a McDonalds hamburger next to a real hamburger you would not recognize them as both being the same kind of item.
I am looking at the bones of my KFC, willing there to be more meat on them. but alas it is not to be.

The sad fact is that my life now just isn't intersting enough for journal entries. "I went to work, came home, slept, repeat." It's not bad, just not worth reading about.
And screw you with the KFC thing.
God I'm hungry....
in terms of ep. III - yea, i enjoyed it. i mean, do i think it's as classic as the OT. no, not at all - its hampered by too much plot that is handled poorly, bad acting, sophmoric writing, and a lack of iconic design. absolutely.
on the other hand - the movies are *fun*, with some humor, good action, and lucas is *still* a great 'world builder"/it's fun to play in that star wars sandbox still.
so, that said, even if his use of themes was unintentional and the movie was flawed, i still enjoyed ep. III, i think it works well with the rest of the prequels and the OT, and it was certainly the *best* of the prequels (the phantom menace is a close 2nd).
