Feeling like I need a change.
I have been working at my current place of employment for almost 2 years... I was thinking for awhile that I was just unable to work for more then 2 years at a time @ one place.... I figured it out! I can't work for a independent owner anymore.
People owning and running a business need to learn that it doesn't matter if you have the money to start a store, when it comes down to it, it takes the ability to obtain a level of knowledge and professionalism. In regards to the treatment and manner in which a Owner displays to ones Employee. Being held accountable and staying true to a conduct that helps benefit the company as opposed to rendering it useless. Fueled by an employees genuine wanting to help "the little guy" , subjected to invasions of personal space and spoken to in a manner that has no place in the work place. That instils fear, knowing that the inevitable departure will be a rough one. Instead of a simple choice to move on, pursue traveling, school...make a change.
I dread it. But, I am a Professional Adult. I have the experience. I am capable of running a store if their routines and store conduct/policies are intact... If given the opportunity I could do great things.
I need to just stop waiting for something better and go get it on my own.... GRRRRR....
