It's pouring rain here, in Hollywood, California. One warm lamp is on in the livingroom and the leaves are heavy with rain on the trees beyond the white, chipped window panes. One of the cats is purring and sleeping on top of the chair.

The Nag Champa smoke is winding it's way into the air near the stereo speakers that are filling the room with Peter Bourke and Lisa Girrard's enchanting voices, and the subtle "ching" of her finger cymbals and that entrancing, magical dulcimer.

I'm seated on the sofa, with my laptop on the coffee table, looking through various pieces of paper and collecting addresses and phone numbers for wedding invitations and announcements and thank you cards. It's a perfect "rainy day" project.

I checked my email to find a really nice gift certificate from a very thoughtful member of SG. Thank you so much, D. That was very kind and generous and warm of you. What a sweet, sweet soul.
